NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — MTV’s new programming chief Tony DiSanto has reorganized the executive lineup at the company, letting several executives go and re-assigning several others.
EVP of talent and series Rod Aissa, along with three others, are leaving the company.
DiSanto grouped development into three teams, according to Variety, with SVP of series development Liz Gateley overseeing reality and scripted, SVP of scripted Chris Linn taking on production and production management, and a third group, that will be headed by an unnamed executive, overseeing scheduling, distribution and new media.
The reorganization comes as MTV struggles to find its footing as ratings slip and audiences are increasingly looking to online media and other platforms. –by CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
