Multiple Tour Bus Crash Leaves Twelve Injured

AURORA, CO (CelebrityAccess) — Indie pop artist Twin Shadow his drummer and the driver of their tour bus remain in the hospital following a tour bus crash in Colorado on Friday that left 12 people injured.

According to the Los Angeles Times, Twin Shadow was traveling on Interstate 70 near Aurora, Colorado, when their bus rear-ended a tractor trailer in dense fog. Twin Shadow's bus then hit another truck and then a second tour bus carrying Keifer and Shawna Thompson of the country music duo Thompson Square, who were enroute to the ACM Awards in Texas.

According to a statement from Twin Shadow, also known as George Lewis Jr., all twelve people on his bus were taken to the hospital. Drummer Andy Bauer and driver John Crawford remain in serious condition and Lewis will undergo reconstructive surgery on his hand.

While everyone involved in the accident recovers, Twin Shadow has postponed all of his tour dates scheduled for April 21- May 22nd.

Thompson Square reported that they escaped without injury and only minimal damage to their bus. – Staff Writers
