Artists continue to band together, this time participating in "America" A Tribute To Heroes" telethon TV special, Friday, Sept. 21, to raise funds for the relief of those suffering from last week's tragedy. The two-hour musicthon will air commercial free 9-11 p.m. (EST) on CBS, NBC, ABC and Fox.
Emanating live from both New York and Los Angeles, the lineup includes Bon Jovi, Jim Carrey, George Clooney, Sheryl Crow, Tom Cruise, Cameron Diaz, The Dixie Chicks, Robert De Niro, Clint Eastwood, Tom Hanks, Faith Hill, Billy Joel, Alicia Keys, Conan O'Brien, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Ray Romano, Julia Roberts, Paul Simon, Will Smith, Bruce Springsteen, Robin Williams, Stevie Wonder and Neil Young.
Methods for viewer donations will be announced on the program.
