CHARLOTTE, North Carolina (CelebrityAccess) — A Nashville concert promoter was arrested in North Carolina after allegedly robbing two Charlotte banks police said.
Lewis Edward Fite faces charges in connection with a Jan. 9 robbery of the BB&T Bank and the February 10th robbery of First Citizens Bank in Charlotte, according to a news release by the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department.
Details of the robberies were not released, by police identified Fite as a suspect and arrested him during a traffic stop based on tips. Fite was also sought by authorities in Tennessee on felony larceny warrants.
According to the Tennessean, Fite lists his company as LeMarg Entertainment Group, a Nashville-based company that offers marketing, booking and concert promotion services. Calls to the company's listed number went unanswered. – Staff Writers
