NEWPORT BEACH, CA (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — The Newport Beach Civic Center's new design will improve and expand the building and the surrounding grounds, making it visually appealing as well as functional. With this project the city is aiming for a LEED Silver certification, and the planned date of completion is summer 2012.
Charles M. Salter Associates is providing the following acoustical services during the expansion: environmental noise insulation, HVAC noise and vibration reduction, MEP noise mitigation for compliance with the Noise Ordinance, interior sound insulation, and room acoustics/interior finishes.

Salter Associates “Our AV consultants are designing audiovisual systems for the City Council Chambers, an Emergency Operations Center, a multi-purpose venue, a public access television operations center (NBTV), several videoconference rooms, 8 break-out rooms, and the entire open plan office area on both floors.
