(CelebrityAccess News Service) — Lauded as one of the best heavy music festivals in the United States, the sixth edition of the New England Metal & Hardcore Festival, produced by MassConcerts, returns to the Palladium in Worcester, MA, April 30 – May 1. Last year’s festival sold out more than a week in advance and was featured on Fuse TV’s “Uranium,” MTV2’s “Headbanger’s Ball,” and Sirius Satellite Radio’s “Hard Attack.” The Live DVD of last year’s fest will be released on March 23.
Once again, the show will take place on the two stages in the Palladium and a film crew will record action on the stage and behind the scenes for a LIVE DVD. Record labels, vendors, and record distributors will set up shop in the balcony of the upstairs room.
Friday night headliners include Killswitch Engage, Arch Enemy, Machine Head, God Forbid and Every Time I Die. Saturday’s headliners will include Iced Earth, Children Of Bodom, Zao, Throwdown and Bleeding Through.
