New Label & Tour For The Rev. Horton Heat

CHICAGO (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) – Rockabilly icons The Reverend Horton Heat are the latest artists to join the Victory Records roster.

Originally formed in Dallas, Texas in 1985, Reverend Horton Heat made a name for themselves performing a delicious mash of rockabilly, punk and surf music. Since then, the band has produced 10 studio albums and notched up more than a million albums sold.

The band's frontman Rev. Jim Heath said: “We are very excited to be a Victory band now. Since we are going to get back to doing some edgier stuff, it makes perfect sense to be on Victory. Plus, they are as passionate as we are. Stay tuned for some crazy ideas about our new album. Tony said I'm graduating to Pope. Hallelujah!!!”

Said new album is due out on Victory in 2013, but if you need your Horton Heat fix before then, you can catch them live as they cross the U.S., headlining the "Stewed, Screwed & Tattooed" tour.
