(CelebrityAccess News Service) – The 2004 New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival will open on Friday, April 23 and run through Sunday, May 2 instead of the previously scheduled start date of April 22.
"In the year of the 35th anniversary event, we're resuming the traditional Friday kick-off," Jazz Fest producer/director Quint Davis said. "The Thursday opening in 2003 was different and fun in its own way, but it's not financially viable in the current economic and tourism environment. We'll be carefully monitoring the situation for opportunities to extend the Festival in the
