New Sponsorship Deal For Superpages.com Center

DALLAS (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Live Nation Entertainment has pacted with Gexa Energy in a multi-year naming rights deal for the venue formerly known as the Superpages.com Center. The financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

Opened in 1988, the newly-rechristened Gexa Energy Pavilion has hosted over 600 concert events for over six million patrons, making it the Metroplex's premiere and longest running outdoor facility dedicated solely to live concert events. The venue is part of Dallas' Fair Park complex, which includes museums, an aquarium, gardens, the Cotton Bowl, and hosts the Texas State Fair annually.

Gexa Energy Pavilion will play host to an array of performers in coming months. Performers who've hit the venue recent years include Roger Waters, Jay-Z, No Doubt, Journey, Tim McGraw, Dave Matthews Band, Radiohead, John Mayer, and Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers. The 2011 line-up will be announced soon.

The Houston-based Gexa Energy provides electricity service for residential and commercial customers throughout the Metroplex and most areas in Texas. The retail electric provider entered the Texas deregulated energy market in 2002.

"The new agreement expands on our previous sponsor relationship with Gexa Energy," said Maureen Ford, Venue Network president at Live Nation. "Gexa Energy's commitment to the community and green energy makes this a great fit, enabling them to reach, engage and connect with live music fans and their customers." – Ian Courtney
