BETHESDA, MD (CelebrityAccess) — North Bethesda will have another place for music after the opening of a new 240-seat concert venue Pike & Rose on March 6th
Named AMP, the new venue is the result of a partnership between Strathmore and Neighborhood Restaurant Group to handle food & beverages, marketing and music at the venue.
According to Bethesda Magazine, Mike Fila, a spokesman for Strathmore, said that AMP hopes to fill a niche for a mid-sized room in the market for acts not suited to the smaller, 100 capacity Mansion at Strathmore or the 2000 capacity Music Center at Strathmore.
So far, AMP has 44 concerts scheduled through August with Alt-country artist Jay Farrar performing for the venue's opening night on March 6th. – Staff Writers
