NEWPORT R.I. (CelebrityAccess) — The Newport Jazz Festival has announced that they will continue with their third day of music this year, after successfully debuting music on Friday at the 2014 edition of the popular jazz festival.
Presented by Natixis Global Asset Management, Newport Jazz will see a return of Friday concerts at Fort Adams with a line-up, including Kneebody and the sophomore appearance of Snarky Puppy, as well as other emerging Jazz artists.
Tickets for the festival, which runs next year from July 31st to August 2nd, go on sale Tuesday, Nov. 25th.
"What we created at the 60th anniversary festival has become the most exciting addition to the jazz festival in many years," said George Wein, producer of the Newport Jazz Festival since its beginning in 1954.
