Ohio Man Sentenced In Concert Promoter's Death


COLUMBUS, OH (CelebrityAccess) — An Ohio man is facing life in prison after he was convicted of beating a Florida concert promoter to death.

According to the Associated Press, 33-year-old Clemon Parham, of Columbus, was sentenced to life in prison with the possibility of parole after 18 years following his September conviction. He was charged in connection with the death of Kevin Connal, was fatally beaten behind a Columbus apartment complex in 2011.

Prosecutors alleged that Parham plotted Connal's death after he lost an investment of more than $100,000 he had invested into failed concerts being promoted by Connal.

Parham maintains his innocence and was acquitted in a separate 2012 killing, the Associated Press said. – Staff Writers
