Olympics Gymnast Tour A Hit


LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — After a whirlwind run of 10 weeks the Kellogg’s Tour of Gymnastics Champions finally wrapped up with a show at the new Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y.

Co-promoted by AEG Facilities and USA Gymnastics, the tour featured women’s 2012 Olympic team gold-medalists Gabrielle Douglas, McKayla Maroney, Aly Raisman, Kyla Ross and Jordyn Wieber and was the most successful post-Olympic gymnastics tour since 1996.

With 40 dates, in front of 250,000 fans, the tour racked up 15,000 miles before all was said and done. Promotion efforts for the tour included charity torch runs, social media contests, and radio and TV ticket giveaways.
