Mike Ovitz's empire seems to be crumbling with the loss of key clients over the past few weeks, and now word comes out of Hollywood, that The Firm is one of the potential suitors to purchase Ovitz's Artist Management Group. Ovitz's recent defections include Robin Williams, Darren Star, Katie Couric, Pete Sampras, Serena Williams and Chris Tucker while Goldie Hawn and Anjelica Huston are recent signees.
According to the New York Times, partners Rick Yorn and his sister-in-law Julie Silverman-Yorn have contracts that expire next year, and both have given indications that "it was improbable that they would re-sign with the company."
