Paper Street Agency Launches July 28 Representing Randall Goodgame, Andrew Osenga & Sandra McCracken

NASHVILLE, TN (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Paper Street Agency, a singer-songwriter intensive booking agency, launches July 23, 2004. The agency is founded by Nashville based management company Arch Music Group and includes a collection of some of the finest writers in Christian and mainstream music today, featuring artists such as Randall Goodgame, Andrew Osenga of Caedmon’s Call, and Sandra McCracken.

When creating Paper Street, the most important thing was to have a solid roster with a proven track record, both as writers and performers. David Williams, co-founder of Paper Street Agency, says, “All the artists on Paper Street are accomplished professionals in their own right. Each one has achieved various levels of success either as a songwriter or as an artist. Yet, because they do not have label representation, they are caught in a niche that doesn’t allow them to find aggressive service agencies to partner with in their efforts. Large booking agencies have a hard time working with acts that do not have a label behind them because grassroots booking is a time consuming thing. These artists, however, have a demand that is not being tapped. Even if you are not familiar with their names, you have probably heard their songs”.

Randall Goodgame, for example, has toured extensively over the past 5 years, including opening for the Caedmon’s Call/ Jars of Clay Spring 2003 tour. Goodgame has also written several songs that appear on Caedmon’s Call albums, including the single, “Only Hope”, which peaked at #5 and remained on the AC Top 10 chart for 10 weeks and the top 10 AC single “ Hands of the Potter”. “There’s Only One”, also Goodgame’s, is the new Caedmon’s Call single going for adds August 24th off the highly anticipated release of their new record Share The Well.

Andrew Osenga was the lead singer and songwriter for Forefront Records recording act The Normals for five years before becoming a member of Essential Records’ Caedmon’s Call. Osenga has written songs for Caedmon’s Call and Andrew Peterson, among others. Osenga has also produced several records at his studio including Andrew Peterson’s Christmas record due for release later this year.

Sandra McCracken has had songs appear on two Caedmon’s Call albums, In The Company of Angels and Back Home, and Derek Webb’s solo debut She Must and Shall Go Free. This year she signed with Shell Records of London, UK to handle her distribution in Europe. She just released her first single in the UK and is already seeing success on BBC radio.

Steve Dale, formerly of Big Tent Revival, is about to record his second independent record. Steve is an accomplished songwriter with an extensive touring history. Steve has been gaining increasing demand as a worship leader with a style that is comparative to Delirious and Chris Tomlin. He is touring with Steve Green this fall.

Featuring a genre of music that is often ignored, Paper Street Agency will primarily target colleges, listening rooms, and churches with audiences experiencing a more intimate evening of music. Several of the artists, like Steve Dale and The Offering are very involved with modern worship events. Sandra McCracken and Matthew Perryman Jones have been active members of the Indelible Grace movement that arranges traditional hymns to modern music.

Paper Street Agency strives to be very promoter friendly and has everything that a promoter will need from booking to promotion available online at www.paperstreetagency.com. Paper Street Agency books for Steve Dale, Andrew Osenga, Sandra McCracken, Randall Goodgame, Matthew Perryman Jones, Ryan Long, Brant Christopher, Tom Conlon, Chris Mason, Wade Joye Band, and The Offering.
