Paul Kelly…There's An App For That

MEREWETHER, Australia (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Paul Kelly released his memoir, "How To Make Gravy" through Penguin Books in late September, and this week the book has been released as an app.

Mirroring the unique structure of his memoir, the app will not only let users read the unabridged ebook of "How To Make Gravy," it will also consult a user's iPod library, giving the capability for fans to listen to any versions of songs they might already have.

The first six songs referred to in the book are included to get users started. The app also contains a very personal video introduction by the iconic entertainer as well as six audio extracts. The app is available for iPhone/iPad devices through iTunes.

"The app is the format closest to my original conception of the book which is as much for the ears as the eyes," said Paul Kelly according to the press release.

The memoir itself is now into its second pressing, as is the companion  8 CD box set of ‘The A To Z Recordings’.

Ticket sales for Paul Kelly’s A to Z live are on sale for the tour which starts on the last day of this month in Brisbane at the Powerhouse and continues around the nation over the next five months.
