LONDON (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Sir Paul McCartney has announced that he's planning a "huge" world tour for Autumn of 2008.
According to the Daily Mirror, the former Beatle told his friends that a tour would help the singer get through the emotional tribulations in the wake of his very public divorce from Heather Mills. The tour would also help to defray the $48 million dollar divorce settlement that was recently ordered by a London court.
While no dates for the have been finalized, Macca is reportedly looking to arrange for legs through the US, Canada, the UK and Australia.
A source close to the singer tells British newspaper The Mirror, "Paul's made happy by his family and his music. He sees this as a kind of celebration that the messy episode with Heather is over.
