Pearl Jam's Cincinnati Concert Canceled Due to Rain and Flood

(CelebrityAccess News Service) — Pearl Jam's concert at the Riverbend Music Center on June 19 was canceled by the promoter and venue due to the unprecedented amount of rain experienced by the entire Ohio Valley over the past several days, and the continued rise of the Ohio River water level.

"The band is very disappointed they won't be able to play Cincinnati but we understand fully the promoter's and venue's decision to cancel as safety is everyone's main priority," said Pearl Jam manager Kelly Curtis on the band's web site. –edited by Bob Grossweiner and Jane Cohen
