Peter Ore Moves To LN – Denver

DENVER (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — The Denver live music scene continues to remain in a state of flux. This time, it's Peter Ore who's making a move. Peter had previously booked the Ogden Theatre and the Bluebird Theatre for NIPP but he's recently accepted a position with Chuck Morris' new Denver Live Nation shop.

Peter's new portfolio will include The Gothic Theater, The Paramount Theatre and The Fillmore Auditorium. Additionally, Peter will also be working on booking some of the larger venues in the area such as the Pepsi Center and Red Rocks.

"Peter and I have always been good mates, and I don't expect that to change," Doug Kauffman, co-owner of NIPP told the Rocky Mountain News. "We might end up competing on some stuff, but that's just par for the course in this business. It has been the same guys working for these different companies who are programming all the concerts in this area. They switch from company to company. I'm staying right where I am."

The Gothic looks like it might be moving in the transition as well. Steve Schalk, owner of the 900 seat venue told the Rocky Mountain News that while he wouldn't' discuss the terms of his agreement with LN, that technically, the gothic would remain "Open." – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
