PMI Looks To Bring Concerts Back To Lambeau In 2015

GREEN BAY, Wis (CelebrityAccess) — It appears as if concerts may be returning to storied football stadium Lambeau field for next year.

The Green Bay and Brown County Stadium District Board met Wednesday afternoon to consider the return of music events to Lambeau Field, home of the Green Bay Packers. The field has been musically quiet since 2011 due to renovations currently underway at the venue, with the final show a performance by Kenny Chesney.

According to Fox affiliate WLUK-TV, PMI Entertainment Group says it has an agreement with an act to perform at the stadium on June 20th of next year, but wants the stadium district board to refund a 10 percent tax it puts on stadium events as the tax makes it difficult to compete for stadium acts.

While the act in question was not named, the term 'he' was used several times in relation to the unnamed performer.

A spokesperson for the Green Bay Packers organization told WLUK that the team was interested in concerts at the venue next summer. – Staff Writers
