Poison Joins The 'Crüe' For The Summer

LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Mötley Crüe is preparing to hit the road this summer for their 45-plus date headlining tour with support from Poison and New York Dolls.

The set list for this outing has been decided by the fans as the band conducted a survey listing every song the group has recorded and had fans vote at Motley.com for the final set list.

The setlist includes tracks that the band hasn’t performed live together in almost 20 years. Fan input was also behind enlisting Poison as the main supporting act; this is the first time Motley and Poison will tour together.

Mötley Crüe has also announced the band’s new “360” drum roller coaster, which will feature drummer Tommy Lee being launched into multiple loops while continuing to perform during his drum solo.

Hailing from Los Angeles, CA, the quartet—Vince Neil (vocals), Mick Mars (guitars), Nikki Sixx (bass) and Tommy Lee (drums)—has been playing for 30 years.

On August 18, 2011, Mötley Crüe will be honored at the 4th Annual Sunset Strip Music Festival in Los Angeles, CA which celebrates the iconic strip where they began their 30 year stint.
