Police Investigating Fake Steven Tyler Concert

WEST WINDSOR, NJ (CelebrityAccess) — West Windsor police are investigating several web postings advertising a concert by Aerosmith frontman Steve Tyler at a strawberry farm in the town.

The posts, including one on Reverbnation mentioned the concert this Saturday which purported to feature Tyler. Unfortunately for Steve Tyler fans, no concert is scheduled and the owner of the farm seems to know nothing about it.

According to CBS News, farm owner Wayne Kalinowski said that the first he heard about the alleged concert was from a woman who asked him about it.

“I know who Steven Tyler is. I don’t think he’s going to come to Windsor Farm for a concert. I doubt that. I said where did you hear that. She said it’s on the internet,” Kalinowski told CBS.

The postings have since disappeared but local police said they would be on hand in case people turned up for the show.

CBS spoke to Tyler's publicist, who confirmed that Tyler had never been booked to perform at the farm.

"We have been cooperating with the authorities to make sure no one has been misled,” said Amanda Ruisi, Tyler’s publicist. – Staff Writers
