SYDNEY, Australia (CelebrityAccess) — Australian promoter Secret Sounds Touring announced that they are shaking up their executive team with several new appointments.
Changes at the company include the promotion of general manager Marc Sousley to the senior role of Promoter, tasked with "actively seeking and promoting international talent for Australasian touring opportunities".
Sousley joined Secret Sounds in 2013 and in that time, has overseen artists such as Father John Misty and The 1975, as well as being involved in Splendour In The Grass and Falls Festival's SXSW showcase.
Stepping into the GM role for Sousley will be Sam Shaw, who also joined Secret Sounds in 2013, starting as a tour coordinator before being promoted to operations manager.
In addition to the promotions, Secret Sounds also added Blake Rayner to handle artist development. Before joining Secret Sounds, Rayner served as an artist manager before joining Dew Process and Create/Control as A&R Manager and International Licensing Manager in 2011.
The company noted that its other staff, including tour coordinator Laura Hillier, marketing manager Jo Hickey, production manager Tim Peterson and artist development rep Tim Manton are unaffected by the shakeup. – Staff Writers
