PHILLIP ISLAND, Victoria (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Inversion Productions, the promoter behind the 2-day Pyramid Rock Festival, has announced that the 2013 edition of the event has been canceled.
In a post on the company's website, a spokesman wrote: "Due to tough economic conditions in recent years the Festival has become unviable for Inversion Productions and their only option is to cancel the event."
The post went on to state that they were exploring options for a return of the festival in 2014.
First held in 2004, the festival made its home at Phillip Island in Victoria, Australia. Last year's lineup included The Cribs, Anti-Flag, Dead Letter Circus, DJ Yoda, Uknown Mortal Orchestra and Tame Impala among others. – Staff Writers
