LONDON (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — An orchestral piece by Radiohead guitarist Jonny Greenwood, titled “Popcorn Superhet Receiver,” will be performed with the BBC Concert Orchestra at Queen Elizabeth Hall.
The exploration in white noise, set for November 24th, will be conducted by Robert Ziegler.
Pieces by Pulp arranger and former Art Of Noise member Anne Dudley and Factory Records’ Steve Martland will also be performed that night.
“Popcorn Superhet Receiver” was first performed in April at the tiny St. Luke’s Church in London, home of the London Symphony Orchestra.
Greenwood has previously released a solo soundtrack to the 2003 film “Bodysong” and was appointed the BBC’s Composer in Residence in 2004. –by CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
