NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess) — On Monday, Live Nation CEO Michael Rapino sat down with CNBC's Brian Sullivan during the network's Power Lunch segment.
In the interview, Rapino discussed the strength of the live market and discussed the industry and Live Nation's response to the terror attacks in Paris and San Bernadino.
According to Rapino, the company has raised security at venues, increasing staff and expanding metal detection capabilities, but he said they were hoping that the attacks were not the start of a widespread trend.
Rapino also discussed the disconnection between the live and recorded music industry and the success of Adele's on-sale for her tour.
