Rapper Uses Mic To Lay The 'Beat' Down, Literally

SAN ANTONIO, TX (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Rapper Paul Wall may call it a "distraction," but we call it "flipping the bird."

According to reports by TMZ, Paul Wall beat a fan with his microphone after the fan stood in front of the stage at the Low Low Car Show on Sunday, and gave Wall the finger.

Wall exchanged words with the "flipper" at the San Antonio, TX concert, but ended the night by beating him several times with his mic, according to TMZ.

Wall has since apologized for his actions in a statement to TMZ.

"I want to sincerely apologize to my San Antonio fans … for allowing myself to become distracted during my recent performance."

Paul continues, "I apologize for temporarily taking my eyes off that goal. I will learn and grow from this incident and be a better person, artist and performer as a result."

The fan was reportedly kicked out of the concert following the attack but so far, no police report has been filed.
