DENVER (CelebrityAccess) — The Jefferson County Coroner has identified the victim of a deadly incident at Red Rocks Amphitheatre following an August 21st concert at the venue as 29-year-old Spencer Cooke.
According to the Denver Post, Cooke attended a show by the Yonder Mountain String Band fell as far as 100 feet while climbing on the rocks at the venue. Cooke's friend, who was also climbing on the rocks, also fell and was rendered unconscious and injured in the fall.
The injured man, who was not identified, woke up the following morning and crawled to the parking lot of the venue before he collapsed. Passers-by found the injured man and called for paramedics who subsequently located Cooke's body.
According to The Post, the two climbers fell from a closed area but investigators were unable to determine exactly where they fell from. – Staff Writers
