COCONUT GROVE, FL (VIP NEWS) — Richard Lom has been promoted to Vice President of SBS Entertainment, the live entertainment and management arm of media company Spanish Broadcasting System.
In his new role, Lom will oversee all aspects of daily operations, live concerts, worldwide management, new TV development, marketing and partnerships, worldwide booking, new business development and interactive. He will report to Albert Rodriguez, COO of SBS, and continue to be based out of Miami.
Lom has been with SBS for over six years, most recently as director of SBS Entertainment. He was part of the executive panel that spoke at the Billboard Latin Music Awards last month to present the company's new business strategy.

SBSE has grown exponentially in the past year, and in recent months, the company has produced Ricardo Arjona's U.S. And Puerto Rico arena tour as well as Shakira's Puerto Rico concerts and a subsequent television special that will air on the company's TV network, Mega. In July, the company is producing "Megaton Mundial de Polito Vega," a massive show at Citi Field celebrating New York program director Polito Vega's anniversary and featuring performances by Gloria Estefan, Ricardo Arjona, Daddy Yankee, Alejandro Sanz, Don Omar and Juanes among many others.
