Rob Hallett To Promote North American Festival

RIVERHEAD, Long Island (CelebrityAccess) — Former AEG Live UK head Rob Hallett's new venture Robomagic has been tapped to help promote the Freak Out Let’s Dance Festival, a new North American fest being produced and hosted by Chic guitarist Niles Rodgers.

Set for August 4th and 5th at Martha Clara Vineyards in Riverhead, Long Island, the new festival's line up features Beck, Duran Duran, Pharrell Williams, Keith Urban, Chuck D, Paloma Faith and Q-Tip among others.

Co-produced by Michael Ostin and Peter Herman, the festival will see Rodgers handling MC duties and also performing with Chic.

“I’ve known Nile for 30 years and it’s an honour and privilege that he’s reached out. It’s such a brilliant idea and has huge potential with Nile using his incredible contacts and reputation to bring in the biggest stars," Hallett told CMU.

"Once established as a festival, it could very easily transfer to become a tour, an album or even a festival in the UK and in other territories – we have big ambitions.” – Staff Writers
