LONDON (VIP NEWS) — Robbie Williams is to play a string of intimate gigs as he prepares to release his ninth solo album.
The former Take That star will play headline shows at Leeds Academy, Glasgow Barrowland and Southend Cliffs Pavilion in September.
It will see the singer perform at some venues he first played as a solo artist 15 years ago.
Fans have been asked to register their details on his official website, as tickets are being sold via a ballot.
They'll have until midnight (BST) on Sunday 2 September to express their interest. Successful applicants will be contacted by midday on 4 September.
The news comes as Williams has been teasing news on his forthcoming album with a series of Tweets in recent weeks.
He tweeted a picture of him sat behind a drum kit today (28 August).
The dates are:
Leeds Academy – 11 September
Glasgow Barrowland – 12
Southend Cliffs Pavilion – 16
He is expected to announce full details of the album, which is produced in part by ex-Take That band mate Gary Barlow, soon.
After a successful solo career Williams re-joined the boy band in 2010.
In the same year they released their first new music together for 15 years.
He also joined them on their record breaking Progress UK stadium tour in 2011.
