Robomagic's Rob Hallett Takes Senior Role At UK Festival

HERTFORDSHIRE, UK (CelebrityAccess) — Rob Hallett, the former head of AEG's live touring unit, has revealed that he's taken a role in managing the UK festival Standon Calling.

Hallett, who was at AEG for a decade, launched a new venture, Robomagic, earlier this year, billing it as a multi-faceted "360" company, focused on the live sector.

“I am thrilled about Robomagic’s first festival connection and look forward to working with the existing management team towards the growth of one of the UK’s most exciting and innovative events,” Hallett told MusicWeek.

Hallett's previous experience with festival events include roles in the UK festivals Summertime at Hyde Park, and Capital Radio Summer Time Ball.

The Standon Calling festival, now entering its 10th year, will take place from July 31st to August 2nd, with a lineup that features Little Dragon, The Dandy Warhols, Basement Jaxx, The Horrors, Hercules & Love Affair, Ella Eyre, Roots Manuva, The Magic Numbers, Kwabs and Roots Manuva among numerous others. – Staff Writers
