Sweden: A one year course for concert arrangers is starting at Rock City in Hultsfred and Valla Folkhögskola in Linköping.
Many of the countries rock concert organizers work on a non-profit making basis learning the "tricks of the trade" through experience and sometimes costly mistakes. The new education is designed to give knowledge about the music business and teach participants how to raise the quality of concerts.
The driving forces behind Hultsfred Festival were also involved in initiating a music management education at Kalmar and Hultsfred last year.
