NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess) — London-based label Rock Candy Records is launching in the US through a partnership with Red Distribution.
Owned and founded by former music journalist and A&R man Derek Oliver and based out of London, England for the last eight years, the label specializes in revisiting some of the most important and significant records from the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s.
Some of the 300 reissues released by Rock Candy in Europe include Rick Springfield, Quiet Riot, Dokken, Billy Squier, L.A. Guns, Hanoi Rocks, R.E.O. Speedwagon Ace Freehley and others.
The North American distribution partnership debuts on Nov. 18th when the reissue four seminal rock classics: the Nymphs album S/T; All Night Long by Sammy Hagar; Every Dog Has Its Day by Salty Dog; and Don't Come Easy by Tyketto.
