Ron Wood has checked himself into the Meadows Clinic in Arizona for alcohol rehab as the Rolling Stones prepare for their next tour. "I told dad that I thought it would be a very good idea if he checked himself into a rehab center and sorted himself out," Jamie Wood, Ron's 27-year-old son, told London's News of the World.
"He's 55 and about to do 120 shows," he said. "It's essential he gets match-fit. Mick (Jagger) came around to the house, had a chat with dad and suggested the rehab too."
"After all, there are millions of dollars at stake with the tour, and he can't afford for anything to go wrong," he added
