ROSKILDE, Denmark (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — This year’s Roskilde festival will see some major changes to its landscape, as the popular Roskilde Ballroom will be closed after 10 years, to make room for the new Roskilde Astoria and Roskilde Cosmopol stages.
The Roskilde Astoria will feature an expressive stage design, and feature intimate acts during the daytime and a club stage with energetic parties at night. The stage set up will cater to enhancing artist/audience connection.
Roskilde Cosmopol will feature underground urban music, focusing on hip hop, dancehall, grime, R&B, urban world music, neo soul and organic electronic music.
The new stage design, with room for bands, DJs, breakdancing and rap battles, will feature a cosmopolitical urban design, with inspiration from “the pulsating beat of the big city,” according to a press release. The tent will have a capacity for 6,000 people, with plenty of space for dancing.
The Roskilde 2007 will take place July 5-8. –by CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
