NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Sean Saadeh has been promoted the position of Senior Vice President of Programming at Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
Saadeh, who was named as Vice President of Programming in March of 2011 has been responsible for bookings at the Barclays Center, including eight nights of sold-out Jay Z concerts, Barbra Streisand, The Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney, Andrea Bocelli, Rihanna, and Dave Matthews Band; major championship boxing; more than 35 college basketball games with nationally ranked teams; and special events such as the MTV Video Music Awards scheduled for August 25.
Saadeh also helped to oversee the development of the Brooklyn Boxing, Hoops, Show, and Family programming franchises and worked to improve the backstage experience for artists and their production teams at the venue.
Prior to signing on at the Barclays Center, Saadeh spent nearly three years as Executive Director of Booking for AEG Facilities, where he oversaw the 20,000-seat Jobing.com Arena in Glendale, AZ., the home of the Phoenix Coyotes. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
