Scott Harrell Pleads No Contest At DUI Trial

D'IBERVILLE, Miss. (CelebrityAccess) — Scott Harrell, formerly the bassist for 3 Doors Down, plead no contest to a second offense of driving while impaired after being found slumped behind the wheel of his vehicle in February, 2014.

According to the Sun-Herald, Judge Albert Fountain sentenced Harrell to one year in jail, suspended after six months if he enrolls in drug and alcohol treatment facility and attends offenders programs.

The February 2014 arrest wasn't Harrell's first experience with DUI and he was previously arrested for driving under the influence of prescription drugs, including oxycodone and xanax.

Harrell also faced several charges in Nashville, Tenn where he was accused of driving impaired in an accident resulting in another driver's death in April 2013. Following the incident, he was indefinitely suspended from the band and sentenced to house arrest. – Staff Writers
