POMPANO (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — An appearance by Rapper Trina at a Florida nightclub on February 24 was marred by gunfire, leaving seven people injured.
According to a report by South Florida's CBS 4 News, a fight broke out shortly after 1 AM and a shot was fired. As security staff were removing the combatants, additional shots took place outside of the club, leaving two security guards and 5 male club patrons injured. All are reportedly in stable condition.
Conveniently, Trina had reportedly yet to arrive. "Just thank God I wasn't in the club, I never made it inside the club, because I'd have hated to be there and something broke out, and I'd have been in the midst of it," Trina told CBS 4. "I'm really sad because they were just there to have a good time and possibly to see me"
Deputies arrested a 17 year old patron who was allegedly caught with a firearm. He had previously existing warrants for battery and discharging firearms in public. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writer
