SIRIUS Satellite Radio Expands Live Performance Broadcasts

(CelebrityAccess News Service) — Commercial-free, satellite radio service SIRIUS Satellite Radio, is expanding its line-up of live performance broadcasts to top music venues around the country. Starting July 4 weekend, SIRIUS will broadcast exclusive performances from two of the country's most progressive music clubs: Rhonda Vincent live from The Station Inn in Nashville, and David Johansen and the Harry Smiths live from The Bottom Line in New York, on SIRIUS Sessions, stream 100.

Over the next few weeks, SIRIUS is scheduled to broadcast performances by Suzy Bogguss, Cliff Eberhardt and The Flower Kings from The Bottom Line.

"I'm excited to be a part of SIRIUS' first nationwide broadcast of performances from The Station Inn," said Vincent. "Now, listeners from every state have access to some of the best in live music — bluegrass and beyond."

SIRIUS is scheduled to broadcast performances from The

Mark Newton and Larry Stephenson Bands, Byron Berline and Larry Cordle & Lonesome Standard Time from The Station Inn, over the coming weeks.

Commenting on these broadcasts, Joel Salkowitz, vice president, music content and programming for SIRIUS, said, "This continues our commitment to live music on SIRIUS Sessions and is just the beginning of performances from classic venues around the country." — edited by Jane Cohen and Bob Grossweiner
