Slash Cancels Dates Due To Japanese Disaster

OSAKA, Japan (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Japan's natural disasters have forced Slash to cancel some of this week's shows.

While Slash was able to make his Osaka performance, he was forced to cancel his Tokyo and Yokohama dates due to the earthquakes, tsunamis and after effects.

Slash reached out on his Twitter page, "Its logistically not possible for us to do the Tokyo & Yokohama shows as scheduled. We will try to reschedule them asap."

The canceled concerts were due to take place at Tokyo's Studio Coast venue on Wednesday and Thursday, March 16-17, and at Bay Hall in Yokohama on Friday, March 18.

More than 10,000 people are feared to be dead from a 9.0-magnitude earthquake and tsunami which engulfed Japan's east coast.
