LONDON (Hypebot) – Slicethepie, the UK based online artist financing site, has added Paul Brown to the board, as Commercial Director. Paul will combine his new role with his current position as Managing Director, International at Pandora. Previously Director of Digital Business at Sony BMG Music UK, Brown spent 6 years working…to grow Sony BMG’s new business areas with particular emphasis on digital music, media, content and brand sponsorship deals as well as the digital aspects of recording artist deals.
Before joining Sony Music, Paul was a Director of Private Equity Funds at the investment bank UBS Warburg and a corporate finance and venture capital lawyer.

In the 11 months since launch music fans and investors have financed 16 artists through the Slicethepie website and have submitted over 1,000,000 independent reviews and ratings of music submitted by artists on the site.
