FORT COLLINS, CO (CelebrityAccess) — Lead singer of the band Smash Mouth Steve Harwell went on an expletive-laden rant and had to be restrained by security at a Colorado concert after being pelted with food by someone in the audience.
Smash Mouth was performing at the annual Taste of Fort Collins Festival when someone started tossing something, apparently bread, at the stage.
“You throw one more piece of shit on the fucking stage, I’m gonna come find your ass and I’m gonna beat your ass,” Harwell said.
Harwell then jumped off stage and started making his way through the crowd but was intercepted by concert security.
The band then continued performing their hit "Rockstar" to the apparent pleasure of the audience. – Staff Writers
