(CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — SMG has promoted Steve Womack to the position of General Manager at the Rabobank Arena, Theater & Convention Center, effective March 11th.
“I am pleased to promote Steve to the position of General Manger of Rabobank Arena, Theater and Convention Center and the Bakersfield Ice Sports Center. Steve is a natural fit having served as Assistant General Manager since July 2002.” said SMG Regional VP Hank Abate. “I believe Steve's knowledge and experience of the arena industry and knowledge of the community will enhance Bakersfield as a must play market for many years to come.”
Womack has served as Assistant General Manager of the complex since July 1, 2002 and has also held the position of Finance Director since June 1998. In addition Womack has held the title of Senior Director of Finance for SMG since April 2005.
