Snow Patrol To Do 3 Shows In Albert Hall

LONDON (VIP NEWS) — Snow Patrol has added a third night at London's Royal Albert Hall as part of the U.K. winter tour that will see the melodic rock band perform "reworked" versions of their catalog.

The tour is set to commence Nov. 18 at the Brighton Centre and now includes three dates at London's 5,200-capacity Royal Albert Hall on Nov. 23-25. Snow Patrol Reworked wraps Dec. 8 at Belfast Waterfront Auditorium.

The band has also added a second show at Manchester Palace Theatre (Nov. 27 and Nov. 29). There are various promoters for the tour including SJM Concerts and DF Concerts.

According to a spokesman from the band's U.K. label Fiction/Polydor, a number of special guests will be joining the band on the tour, although no artists have currently been announced.

Alongside reinvented versions of their hits, lesser-known catalog tracks will feature on the tour as well as material by the Reindeer Section, an alt-rock collective – currently on hiatus — featuring members of Snow Patrol, Belle and Sebastian, Idlewild and Teenage Fanclub, among others.

Ticket purchases include a free download of Snow Patrol's "Lightning Strike" taken from the band's 2008 studio set "A Hundred Million Suns." –According to Billboard
