SARATOGA SPRINGS, NY (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — According to the Saratogian, the Saratoga Performing Arts Center board of directors has withdrawn the controversial separation package of president Herb Chesbrough.
Stephen Serlin, the new SPAC chairman, told the paper, “We felt we have to get on with business. The quickest way to get on with things would be to take this off the table.”
Despite the withdrawal of Chesbrough’s $400,000 separation package, a spokesperson for the state attorney general’s office said that they will continue looking into alleged conflicts of interest by members of the board and their companies.
As to whether or not charges will be brought against Chesbrough or any of the board members, “[t]he facts will determine our actions,” relayed the spokesperson. –by CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
