NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess) — Sports Illustrated is teaming up with Live Nation and Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment to produce the a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Summer Music & Fan Festival, a new 'fan festival' tied into the magazine's venerable Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition.
SI says the festival, which is set for August 28th, will offer free daytime activities that include model appearances on the beach and boardwalk, as well as a concert that will be held in the evening, with information about the artist lineup pending.
The concert will take place at Live Nation's new 5,000-seat open-air venue The Amphitheater at Coney Island Boardwalk. The venue is set to open on July 1st.
