BROOKLYN, NY (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — AEG Facilities has named Steve Rosebrook as General Manager of the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. Rosebrook will be responsible for the management of the front and back of house operations of the venue, which is managed by AEG Facilities and Barclays Center’s staff.
In addition to his general management of the venue, Mr. Rosebrook's portfolio will also include oversight of a number of AEG initiatives, including AEG S.A.F.E., AEG 1Source, AEG 1EARTH, AEG 1Force, AEG Encore and AEG Energy Services, in addition to working closely with other divisions of the company.
A veteran facilities manager with more than 24 years of experience in the field under his belt, Mr. Rosebrook joined AEG Facilities more than a year prior to the opening as the arena’s Vice President of Operations. Prior to joining the Barclays team, Rosebrook has recently held positions as the Assistant General Manager and Regional Director of Operations for AEG Facilities at the XL Center in Hartford, Connecticut; Assistant General Manager of Toyota Center in Houston, Texas and Facility Service Manager of the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Canada.
The Barclays Center is a multi-purpose arena that first opened in 2012 in Brooklyn, New York. The venue serves as home to the NBA team The Brooklyn Nets and seats up to 18,000 for concerts. – Staff Writers
