(CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Geoff Ellis, CEO of Big Day Out Ltd, organizers of this years’ “T in the Park” festival, has announced that tickets sold out in record time. All 65,000 tickets were snatched up just three days after the first bands were announced.
Last night, Ellis and partners revealed that the Godfather of Soul, James Brown, and Scottish favorites Travis will be performing along with the star-studded list of artists already released. According the The Scotsman, Ellis commented, “After last year’s sell-out, we did think this year’s event would sell slightly earlier. However, this is way beyond our expectations.”
