NASHVILLE, TN (CelebrityAccess) — Country music icon Tanya Tucker was forced to postpone a handful of dates on her current North American tour after she was hospitalized with an infection.
Tucker became ill with an upper respiratory infection before a date in South Dakota and was treated by local doctors before heading back to Nashville, according to a statement from her publicist. Tucker is now recovering from the ordeal in a Nashville hospital.
“I cannot apologize enough to all the fans who bought tickets and were looking forward to seeing us on the road. I just feel terrible, but I’ll get even worse if I don’t take care of myself. I love you all,” Tucker said.
